Wintertime is holiday time in the south side of the Alps. The region Obervellach – Reisseck has reliable snow conditions and especially in the glacier skiing area of Mölltal glacier, great skiing can be enjoyed almost all year round. True ski touring classics lead ambitious ski mountaineers to many more wonderful peaks and, above all, back down again. The reliable snow conditions and favourable climate also play a large part particularly when freeriding, cross-country skiing or snowshoe hiking.
