For bookings for accommodation you have selected individually, the General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry (2006) apply. These are available to download here. Payment for the entire package takes directly via the Hohe Tauern – die Nationapark Region in Kärnten Tourismus GmbH.

For bookings on an offer or a fixed rate package and/or an additional service such a guided tour, the General Terms and Conditions of Travel (ARB 1992) of the Fachverband der Reisebüros apply. The order processing and invoicing are handled by Hohe Tauern – die Nationalpark-Region in Kärnten Tourismus GmbH. In accordance with the Reisebürosicherungsverordnung (RSV), customer payments for package tours are protected under the following conditions:

The deposit must be paid no earlier than eleven months prior to the agreed end of the trip, and amount to 10 % of the tour price. The remaining balance must be paid no earlier than 20 days prior to departure. The participant subsequently receives the travel documents. Deposits or balance payments exceeding these amounts, or early payments will not be requested, and would not be protected.

In the event of insolvency, all claims shall be invalid unless they are reported within 8 weeks of the onset of insolvency to the liquidator: Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, 1220 Vienna, Karochwjlestraße 4, Austria Phone: +43 1 3172 500, Fax: +43 1 3199 367, Emergency call (24 hours a day) +43 1 5044 400.

Cancellation terms (Extract from the General Terms and Conditions of Business and Travel)
• Up to 40 days before your arrival date you can cancel free of charge
• 39 – 21 days before arrival we charge 50% of the travel price
• 20 – 8 days before arrival the cancellation charge is 70% of the travel price
• For cancellations within the last 7 days before arrival we charge 90% of the travel price

There is no right of withdrawal according to § 11 Abs. 1 FAGG, instead the AGBH (General Terms and Conditions of business for the Hotel Industry) apply to our house (http://www.hotelverband.at/down/AGBH_englisch.pdf).
